With UPOV PRISMA, plant breeders can use a single online tool to apply for plant variety protection across multiple jurisdictions around the world, simplifying application processes and saving valuable time and effort.
The platform includes a built-in translation feature that generates application forms and technical questionnaires in the relevant languages. Information entered once can be re-used for future applications, streamlining the experience even further.
Digital submission reduces delays in communication which is crucial for meeting time-sensitive requirements such as novelty and allows breeders to track every step of the application process.
This not only improves application management for breeders but also enhances the efficiency and quality in processing applications for the relevant authorities.
