The PVP Office will confirm to the applicant by e-mail that the application was successfully received, once the payment is validated.
The PVP Office accepts the DUS test report from a UPOV member and tests carried out by the breeder; in this case, the PVP Office may supervise the tests).
If a DUS test is required, the PVP Office will send to the applicant details of the approved person to conduct the test, as well as the quantities and conditions to send the plant material ( see Section 17 of the Law).
Payment should be made at the time when the application is submitted. The application will be accepted once the payment of the application fee has been made and confirmed.

Yes, when the PVP Office receives the application and confirms the payment, the applicant will receive an acceptance letter as acknowledgment of receipt. A receipt of payment is available upon request.
According to the provisions of the Plant Breeders' Protection Act, 2019, it is required that an address within Saint Vincent and the Grenadines be provided for service of documents in relation to the application.
The filing date of the application is considered to be the date at which the application is complete, including the payment of application fees.
